Amid quarantine and my gap year, I continued to adventure my artistic abilities. At first, I wanted to paint two fish, symbolizing the upcoming Pisces season. However, my intuition told me to explore more, giving me the idea to paint a woman rather than fish. As I began to paint her face, I did not want to emphasize facial features, as black people have many features. The variety of hair colors represent the many stages of life, as being born in the Pisces season means being a Pisces forever. I am a Pisces Woman and am proud to be one.
